What is a standard analysis?
One right-click on one citation. A fast model (Gemini class) reads the citation context and whatever is openly available from the linked paper, then explains the citation’s role with evidence grading and a confidence level. This covers the clear-cut majority of citations well.
What is a deep analysis?
A second, more careful read by a stronger reasoning model (Claude class), for citations the first pass finds genuinely hard: conflicting evidence, unclear roles, complex methodology. On Pro and Lab it triggers two ways — automatically, when the first-pass model flags a hard case, or manually, when you ask for it. Either way it counts against your deep quota.
What happens when I reach my limit?
You get a clear notice naming your plan and the date your quota resets — never a silent failure or a degraded answer — and you can upgrade at that point if you want to keep going. When deep quota runs out on Pro or Lab, hard cases still return the full standard result; the deep re-read simply is not triggered.
When do quotas reset? Do unused analyses roll over?
Quotas reset on the monthly anniversary of your subscription — on the calendar month for Free. There is no rollover: each month starts fresh at your plan’s full allowance.
Can I cancel or change plans?
Yes. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, and you can cancel, upgrade or downgrade any time from the Stripe customer portal. There are no long-term commitments.
